               ↳ ETHAN COOK ━ SEVEN.TEEN( ALPHA )

Ethan is the older twin- by two minutes- a whole minute longer than most twins, as he likes to rub in Aiden’s face. From an early age, he acknowledged the fact that even though they were twins, he was the stronger one. Ethan was the child that commanded the attention of the room, the one that wasn’t afraid of anything. Well, he was afraid of one thing but for the longest time, it was such an impossibility that it never registered in Ethan’s mind as an actual threat.
Not until the summer after he and Aiden had turned sixteen. They were at a summer camp and it was a dare- a stupid dare- that would change their lives forever. It was simple: go out in the woods the night of the full moon and spend the night. Ethan couldn’t back down and Aiden didn’t want him to go alone and so out they went. The howls caused the hair on their necks to prickle and just when concern for Aiden’s safety started to beat his pride, the Alpha showed up. Ethan can remember the exact feeling of fear and awe that caused him to tremble, screaming for Aiden to run—cut off by the feeling of sharp teeth sinking into his shoulder. The beast released him and Ethan ran wildly, calling out for his brother frantically, only to hear an identical scream of fear and pain echo further in the woods. Two separate alphas- two separate packs- and for the first time in his life, Ethan felt disconnected to his brother in more than just the distance that spanned as they left the camp with their new packs. It didn’t last long—too long in Ethan’s opinion- but they managed to orchestrate their escape. It was almost poetic- how the brothers both pulled their alpha’s aside the night before the moon, a month after they had both been bitten, managing to rip the throats out of their ‘leaders’. But naturally, most do not take kindly to the death of leaders and so the twins fled, meeting up and realizing that there was no way they could stay with their respective packs and manage to stay alive. They traveled together, being classified as runaways but always managing to keep just under the radar. It was completely by chance that the two happened upon the Alpha pack but after realizing the benefits of actually belonging to a pack, they signed up without question. The subject of the Hale pack only mildly interests Ethan. The territory is nothing he concerns himself over, not wanting to settle down and establish a pack in the first place. No, its Derek’s history and the darkness behind it that intrigues Ethan. Besides,  he can’t really see the benefit of Hale joining the pack- not when he’s got that litter of pups hanging off of him. Maybe if he eliminates the extra baggage, then Hale will seem more suiting for their makeshift team.
